Education

Following completion of a Bachelor of Arts degree at Barnard College, Columbia University,
Dr. Magramm obtained an M.D. from Cornell University Medical College in 1981.  
Dr. Magramm is a board certified Ophthalmologist.

Dr. Magramm completed her internship in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital in New
York and completed a residency in ophthalmology at North Shore University Hospital in 1985.  
Dr. Magramm, a board certified ophthalmologist, completed a fellowship at the world-
renowned Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, specializing in Pediatric Ophthalmology and
Strabismus.  

In addition to articles published in the Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus,
Ophthalmology and Pediatrics in Review, Dr. Magramm has lectured at many New York area
hospitals and professional symposia.
